Our Story

Rooted in plant care personalisation

Let me introduce myself - I am Annetta Snider and I live in the Surrey Hills, I am semi-retired and juggle my time between work, family, friends, my dog & garden!  I wouldn’t call myself a gardener, just someone who enjoys getting out and working in the garden, and watching it change and develop through the year. I suspect that’s true of most of us who garden; only about a quarter would actually call ourselves 'gardeners'.

When my olive tree’s leaves started turning yellow, I asked AI what was wrong and got told it could be either overwatering or underwatering, which wasn’t much help at all. It had no idea about my actual setup: where the tree stood, what the soil was like, what the weather had been doing that month. I could also never remember, from one month to the next, which of my plants had already been fed and which hadn’t, or when I was due to feed them again, and what to use.  Each season I'd have to look up (if I remembered) when to prune and how to actually do it!

So, I built the app I wished I’d had: one that knows my plants, my garden, and the weather where I live, and just tells me, each month, exactly what to do. It also knows I’m still a beginner and adjusts as I get more experienced, rather than assuming I already know what I’m doing. Our philosophy is based on plant care personalisation - an app that knows you and your garden.

If any of that sounds familiar, Bluebells was built for you too.

Plant Advice That Knows You

Our advice is tailored to how you see yourself as a gardener.  Beginners get fuller, step-by-step advice; experienced gardeners get the same advice with less detail.

If it is something else garden related that the app does not cover our agent Flora who already knows about you and your garden will be available to tailor advice to help.*
