Acceptance of these terms
By creating a Bluebells account, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app. Bluebells is operated by Annetta Snider, trading as Bluebells, of Bluebells, 1 Bostocks Close, Cranleigh, GU6 7RZ, United Kingdom.
What Bluebells provides
Bluebells is a gardening companion app that identifies plants from photos, generates AI-assisted care plans, runs monthly photo-based health checks, and suggests plants and products based on your garden’s conditions. Advice is generated by third-party AI services from the information you provide, and — like any gardening advice — won’t always be right for every situation.
Subscriptions & payment
Bluebells offers a free trial followed by a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Apple’s in-app purchase system and are subject to Apple’s own terms as well as these. They automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period; cancel any time via iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions — Bluebells cannot process cancellations directly. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may change for future billing periods with notice.
Your content
You own the photos and content you upload to Bluebells. Uploading them grants us the licence needed to process them for the purpose you uploaded them for — plant identification, health diagnosis, and generating your care plans — including sending them to the third-party processors listed in our Privacy Policy. We don’t use your photos for anything beyond powering your own account’s features.
Acceptable use
Use Bluebells only for its intended purpose — managing your own garden. Don’t attempt to disrupt the service, extract other users’ data, or use the identification or diagnosis features for anything other than genuine gardening use.
Advice is general guidance, not professional advice
Plant identification, care plans, health diagnoses, and product recommendations are generated by AI from the details you provide, and are intended as general gardening guidance — not professional horticultural, arboricultural, or pest-control advice. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions and any applicable local regulations before using any chemical treatment product Bluebells recommends. For valuable, protected, or potentially hazardous plants and pests, consider consulting a qualified professional.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Bluebells is provided "as is," and we aren’t liable for plant loss, garden damage, or other losses resulting from following advice generated by the app.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a meaningful way, we’ll let you know in the app before the changes take effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, reflecting the operating address above.
